Why "official" is a trust signal

Anyone can publish an MCP server for a popular tool, and quality, security, and maintenance vary enormously. An official MCP server means the vendor built it, documents it, and is responsible for keeping it working as their product changes.

How we verify official status

  • The MCP server is linked from the vendor's own docs or GitHub org.
  • The vendor announces or documents the server as an official integration.
  • We re-check status periodically and update the "last checked" date.

No official server yet?

Some tools only have community MCP servers, and some have none at all. We list those too, clearly labeled, so you can make an informed choice about the tradeoffs.
