How we rank MCP servers
Every listing gets an agent-readiness score from 0-100 based on whether the MCP server is official, whether it supports read and write actions, how difficult authentication is, and whether the vendor also ships a public API, CLI, and llms.txt file. Higher scores mean an agent can do more useful work with less friction.
What "best" does not mean
A high score does not mean a tool is the most popular — it means it is the most usable by an AI agent today. A niche tool with a well-built official MCP server can outrank a household-name product that has no agent story at all.
